How long should I plan for my first appointment?
Plan for more time than a typical maintenance visit. New guest appointments include a full consultation and a custom color formulation, so we can get to know your hair and build a plan that's actually right for you — no rushing.
Can I achieve my dream hair in one visit?
Sometimes, yes. Other times, the healthiest path is a phased approach depending on where your hair is starting from. Either way, we'll always recommend the route that protects your hair's integrity first.
What products do you use?
Davines, K18, and a curated lineup of professional styling and skincare brands — chosen for performance and for how they treat your hair, not just how they look in the moment. You'll find many of them in our boutique if you want to bring the results home.
Where are you located?
Certified Vixen is in Solana Beach, CA, and we welcome guests from across North County San Diego — Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Encinitas, Carlsbad, and beyond.
What does it cost?
Pricing varies by service and by stylist. You can see current pricing by visiting our Book Your Appointment page and tapping on your desired service. Your stylist will also confirm exact pricing based on your hair's length, density, and the specific service during your consultation.
What's your cancellation policy?
Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance. Appointments canceled within 48 hours may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee, and no-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service. Our time is reserved exclusively for you, and late cancellations prevent us from accommodating other clients. All services are final and non-refundable once performed — but we're always happy to make reasonable adjustments during your appointment to ensure you leave feeling confident and cared for.
